1050 Aluminum plate

1050 aluminum plate and strip belong to a product in the pure aluminum plate series, and the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the 1060 series are similar, and they are basically replaced by 1060 aluminum plate and strip in application. The last two Arabic numerals of the 1050 series are 50. According to the international brand naming principle, the aluminum content must reach 99.5% or more for qualified products. my country's aluminum alloy technical standard (GB/T3880-2006) also clearly stipulates that the aluminum content of 1050 reaches 99.5%. Because it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is the most commonly used series in conventional industries. Industrial pure aluminum has the characteristics of high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, but low strength. It is not strengthened by heat treatment and has poor machinability. It can accept contact welding and gas welding.

     Industrial pure aluminum has the general characteristics of aluminum, low density, good electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance, and good plastic processing performance. It can be processed into plates, strips, foils, and extruded products. It can be used for gas welding, argon arc welding, spot welding.

     Industrial pure aluminum cannot be strengthened by heat treatment and can be strengthened by cold deformation. The only form of heat treatment is annealing. The starting temperature of recrystallization is related to the impurity content and the degree of deformation, generally around 200°C. The annealed sheet has σb=80-100MPa, σ0.2=30-50MPa, ζ=35%-40%, HB=25-30. After 60%~80% cold deformation, although the chaos can be increased to 150~180MPa, the ζ value drops to 1%~1.5%. Increasing the content of iron and silicon impurities can improve strength, but reduce plasticity, conductivity and corrosion resistance. The annealing softening characteristics and cold work hardening characteristics of 1200 (L5) industrial pure aluminum plates are shown in the figure. It can be seen from the figure that the mechanical properties of different cold hardening states can be obtained by adjusting the annealing temperature after cold deformation or controlling the amount of cold deformation after annealing. In order to improve the formability, the former method is better.


application:

     Often used in daily necessities, lighting appliances, reflectors, decorations, chemical industry containers, heat sinks, signs, electronics, lamps, nameplates, electrical appliances, stamping parts and other products. In some occasions that require high corrosion resistance and formability, but not high requirements for strength, chemical equipment is its typical use.
